  • The United Dairyfarmers of Victoria (UDV) is the collective voice of Victorian dairy farmers, representing its members to governments and industry at state and local levels.
  • Dairy Australia is the national services body for dairy farmers and the industry. Their role is to help farmers adapt to a changing operating environment, and achieve a profitable, sustainable dairy industry.
  • The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) role is to support conditions to sustainably develop the Victorian economy and grow employment.
  • Monash University has achieved an enviable national and international reputation for research and teaching excellence in a short 50 years.
  • The University of Melbourne enjoys an outstanding reputation with world rankings consistently placing them as Australia’s leading comprehensive research-intensive university.
  • Nuffield Australia awards scholarships each year to farmers in Australia. The objective is to increase practical farming knowledge and management skills and techniques generally.
  • RaboBank runs it's Executive Development Program annually which helps farmers build strategic planning capabilities and commercial management skills to explore options for business growth.
  • The Australian Rural Leadership Foundation is a not for profit that delivers high quality leadership programs to ensure rural Australia has a vibrant, resilient future.
  • The University of Queensland Business School runs the UQ Business School Owner Manager Program™ is the only Australian program designed specifically to meet the needs of small to medium business owners.

Gardiner Dairy Foundation is embedded in the Victorian dairy industry and collaboration is pivotal to the way we operate. Below is a list of links to the websites of key industry participants, reports and documents that play a pivotal role in shaping the dairy industry today.

  • Dairy Moving Forward is the national research, development and extension framework for Australia's dairy industry.
  • Victoria is Australia's largest food and fibre exporting state. Follow this link for an infographic and up-to-date downloadable reports on Victorian food and fibre export performance.
  • Australian Dairy Industry Council (ADIC) and Dairy Australia have authored a sustainability framework for the dairy industry, ‘Enhancing livelihoods, Improving well being, Reducing environmental impact: A Strategic Framework for keeping the Australian dairy industry in business for the long term’
  • Following the Strategic Framework is the ADIC’s Australian Dairy Industry Sustainability Framework Progress Report December 2014, which tracks the performance of dairy farmers and manufacturers, towards achieving 11 economic, social and environmental targets set in the Australian Dairy Industry Sustainability Framework.
  • The Dairy Sustainability Framework is the Global Dairy Agenda for Action (GDAA) program for aligning and connecting sustainability initiatives to demonstrate leadership and progress globally. 
  • Dairy Australia is the national services body for dairy farmers and the industry. Their role is to help farmers adapt to a changing operating environment, and achieve a profitable, sustainable dairy industry.
  • Australian Dairy Farmers (ADF) is the national advocacy body representing dairy farmers across the six dairying states. Their mission is to improve the profitability and sustainability of dairy farmers in Australia.
  • Dairy Farmer Central is the central source of information for programs, initiatives and events available for dairy farmers and their communities 
  • Legendairy is a treasure chest of news, information and resources, from health and nutrition information and dairy recipes to expert spokespeople and industry facts and figures.
  • The Australian Dairyfarmer delivers the latest news and management information for dairy farmers around Australia, online and in print every bi-monthly.
  • Agriculture Victoria has been created to give greater visibility to the agriculture activities within DEDJTR, giving a clear identity to agricultural services and initiatives within the department.
  • Gipps Dairy is the regional development program for dairy farmers in Gippsland and is the region's service delivery arm od Dairy Australia. 
  • WestVic Dairy is the regional development program for dairy farmers n western Victoria and is the region's service delivery arm of Dairy Australia.
  • Murray Dairy is the regional development program for northern Victorian and is the Murray region's service delivery arm of Dairy Australia.
  • The Dairy Industry Association of Australia is a not-for-profit industry association for dairy product manufacturers and allied trades.
  • Dairy Bio is a joint venture between Dairy Australia and the Victorian Government. Based at the Agri Bio facility in Bundoora, Victoria it will continue the research initiatives of the Dairy CRC into pasture and animal performance.
  • Dairy CRC You Tube channel is a great resource for videos highlighting production based dairy research conducted in partnership with Dairy CRC. Some of these flag ship initiatives such as the Feed Saved ABV were made possible with funding from the Gardiner Dairy Foundation.
