Australian Dairy Products Federation

The Australian Dairy Products Federation (ADPF) is the national organization representing the interests of dairy product manufacturers and processors. The ADPF's primary purpose is to promote the interests of its members to both state and federal governments, and other sectors of the community.

At a state level, the Victorian Dairy Products Association (VDPA), which is part of the ADPF, represents the interests of members on Victorian based issues.

The United Dairyfarmers of Victoria is a commodity group of the Victorian Farmers Federation, which is associated with the National Farmers Federation, and is a member of the Australian Dairy Farmers with representation on the Australian Dairy Industry Council. The UDV is a non-profit organisation that assists in providing an operating environment that gives members the opportunity to create a rewarding future in dairyfarming.

As the voice of more than 70 per cent of Victorian dairyfarmers, the role of the United Dairyfarmers of Victoria is to promote the most favorable economic and social environment for members, by lobbying and influencing government and other agencies at local, state and national levels, as well as providing its members with ongoing advisory support, information, activities and special retail and commercial deals.

The UDV firmly believes in the growth of the domestic and international market as well as supporting the recognition of dairyfarming as a rewarding and fulfilling career and the importance of dairyfarming in maintaining the local economy.

Milk Processors' Association of Victoria Inc.

The Milk Processors Association of Victoria (MPAV) is the organisation that represents fresh drinking milk processors who are based in Victoria. The MPAV's main aims are to promote the interests of its members to government, statutory authorities and other industry bodies/associations.

The MPAV also works to support the promotion of fresh milk consumption, as well as fostering activities to improve productivity and efficiency in milk processing and distribution.
