MODEL PROJECT AGREEMENT AND LETTER OF AGREEMENT
Please view the Foundation’s model Project Agreement and Letter of Agreement.

As part of the Application process, applicant organizations will be required to sign a declaration in the application form which among other things, certifies that the Applicant has reviewed the model agreements and subject to an offer of funding being made and accepted, their organization will be willing to sign the Project Agreement (or Letter of Agreement) as appropriate to the type of project being funded. (Refer to 1.8 in the Project Guidelines for Biotechnology, Innovation and Community and People Development)

- Recipients of Innovation or Biotechnology Major Projects Funding would be required to sign the Project Agreement.

- Recipients of Innovation or Biotechnology Small Projects Funding would be required to sign the Letter of Agreement.

- Recipients of all Community and People Development Funding would be required to sign the Letter of Agreement. To the extent that commercialization or IP is relevant to a CPD project, relevant sections of the Project Agreement (Sections E and F) would be incorporated into additional schedules in the Letter of Agreement.

Any requests for variation to the model Project Agreement (or Letter of Agreement) would need to be made in writing and submitted with the application for funding, and will be taken into account as part of the project evaluation and selection process.

Failure to sign the Project Agreement (or Letter of Agreement) within 30 days from the date of first receipt by the Project Organisation will lead to reallocation of funding to another Applicant.
