OUR FUNDING PROGRAMS
In 2012 the Gardiner Foundation is making available $3.26 million of new funding for innovative projects which create impact across the dairy value chain.
Gardiner Foundation invites applications for funding in the following programs:
Innovation Program - funding available $1,750,000
This Program creates a portfolio of projects around design and adoption of new science, technology, products or services. Up to $750,000 funding is available for individual projects.

Community and People Development Program - funding available $710,000
The Gardiner Foundation has a proud track record of pioneering projects in dairy community and people development. Up to $250,000 funding available for individual projects.

GF/FRRR “Working in Dairy Communities” Small Grants Program. Of this total CPD funding, $110,000 will be made available to fund Small Grants of up to $5,000. Gardiner has again contracted FRRR to deliver this program.

Research Council Linkage Scheme -
funding available up to $300,000
The project proposal selected as delivering the most benefit to the dairy industry will be offered this funding as Partner Organisation contributions. Up to $200,000 available for individual projects.

Dairy Health and Nutrition Consortium
In 2007 the Gardiner Foundation partnered with Australia’s seven leading dairy companies to create the Dairy Health and Nutrition Consortium. Up to $500,000 is available to these companies on a $1 for $2 basis to help develop value add dairy foods underpinned with science-based health claims.
