We were delighted to welcome Gardiner Nuffield Scholar for 2017, Brendan Hehir, to participate in the Project Presentations at the 2020 Dairy Leaders Luncheon. Brendan manages the family farm at Wyuna in Northern Victoria.

Brendan’s study topic was international business practices and his aim in undertaking the scholarship was to help ensure Australian dairy farmers remain at the forefront of profitability into the future. (Paper available from: Brendan Hehir 2016 ).

Peter and Bec Trevaskis, dairy farmers at Murchison joined their dairy advisor, Cameron Smith and Neil Webster from DA for as panel discussion of the impact of ‘Our Farm, Our Plan’. Peter and Bec are weighing up their options for the future and the ‘Our Farm, Our Plan’ program came at the right time for them to put their thinking into a form that allowed them to see more clearly where they wanted to be in the future, where they are now and how to bridge that gap.  For more on ‘Our Farm, Our Plan’ go to: http://bit.ly/3aNYYjE
